carnival cruise on magic

Whether you are seeking a fine meal, some tasty pub grub, or a cold pint to enjoy while you watch the game, we’ve got you covered. If relaxation is more your style while the children enjoy other activities, you’ll want to book some time in Serenity Adult Only Retreat™. Here you can find yourself in a truly magical setting of tranquil calm, away from all the energy and excitement on other areas of the ship. Carnival Magic draws a diverse base, with passengers from all over the United States and even a few foreign countries (mostly Canadian, English and German tourists tacking on a cruise to their Florida vacation).

Posted signs warn chair hogs that towels will be removed after 40 minutes, but we didn't see this enforced. Carnival Magic's Porthole staterooms give you the classic seafarer's view times two - a pair of round windows providing an affordable view of the ocean. If you tire of ocean-gazing, there's plenty more to do onboard, but 24-hour room service is one amenity you can enjoy as you continue to take in the view. Guests have told us we hit on something special with the cool Caribbean chill of the RedFrog Pub. We've taken the best parts and brought them poolside with the RedFrog Rum Bar, where the frog keeps the fun hopping day and night with all the island flava you know and love. Join the party at this poolside bar featuring a great selection of frog-approved Caribbean rum-based concoctions available by the glass or pitcher, plus plenty of Carnival’s signature private-label draft beer, ThirstyFrog Red.

Carnival Magic's rooms are surprisingly generous in space and storage; families and groups traveling together will also be pleased with the sheer diversity of options available. This is slightly bigger than the average entry-level cruise ship stateroom. Ocean-views, family cabins and suites are also available on Carnival Magic, giving passengers many choices, depending on their wallet.

Carnival Magic®

Private aft-facing extended balcony with patio chairs and table. In Miami, you’ll enjoy a small taste of the tropical weather many of you will experience during your cruise, and you’ll see why Miami is one of the most popular places to live in America. The lifeboat configuration of Carnival Magic differs from that of her sister ship, Carnival Dream, in that Carnival Magic has 18 double-size lifeboats, while Carnival Dream has 30 smaller boats. Carnival Magic also has a large, highly visible SkyCourse ropes course forward of her funnel that is not present on her sister. CCL has the Corporation's largest fleet as number of vessels and GT-tonnage (ship sizes/volumes and passenger capacities). In 2023, CCL had ~9% (by revenue) and ~19% (passengers) share of the cruise industry's worldwide market.

Families can also take advantage of the dozens of connecting units on Carnival Magic – most are balcony staterooms, but there are also some interior and ocean-view cabins. Just keep in mind that the doors connecting these cabins might as well not exist and if you want privacy, these are not the cabins for you, as you'll hear everything going on next door. Awkward for strangers, yes, but possibly even more awkward for couples traveling together. If you’ve been on some newer cruise ships recently, whether new Carnival ships or ships with another cruise line, then you likely enjoyed a range of fine dining. And that’s something that we’re seeing across the board — cruise lines are enhancing their dining to cater to pickier palettes among cruising audiences. Carnival Magic’s suites do have a bit more of a modern feel to them, as compared to the general staterooms.

Take advantage of Carnival's onboard activities, including WaterWorks water slides, pools, sports courts, ropes course, mini-golf, video arcade, sports bars, casino, duty-free shopping, bars and lounges, art gallery and more. There’s no need for a wand or cape, the magic comes naturally on the Carnival Magic. This super ship was the first ship to feature a ropes course at sea. The ropes course is a focal point of the SportsSquare where you and your friends can play miniature golf, table tennis or foosball.

Vacation Deals

Aft-View Extended Balcony staterooms feature a larger balcony for more lounge-around room, more kick-back space... Not to even mention some of the best stern-side views you'll find anywhere. Get ready to relax as you gaze upon Carnival Magic's gentle wake from your spacious balcony.

You could spend an entire day in the SportsSquare or the Carnival WaterWorks water park, just don’t miss out on the relaxing Cloud 9 Spa where a rejuvenating facial is calling your name. Then head to Cucina del Capitano for a family-style Italian dinner. We went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, and we found just the guy. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own. Fun-lovers of every age are sure to find it at the top-deck aqua park with two hair-raising waterslides — a bowl slide and a spiral, plus a gigantic tipping bucket that will drench you to shrieks of delight.

Junior Suites have a walk-in closet with a vanity, a full bathroom with a combo shower/whirlpool tub and double sinks. The main perk of an Ocean Suite is the larger balcony; otherwise, the rooms are identical, although you can book an ocean suite for four people. In addition to the daily, ever-changing fun organized by the enthusiastic cruising staff, you’ll also find nightly musical and theatrical acts in the ship’s theater, the live music scattered throughout the ship and dancing in select spots. There’s also a casino, if that’s more in line with the type of entertainment you prefer.

Guest Services and the Shore Excursion deck are located on Deck 3, inside an atrium that marks longtime Carnival ship interior designer Joe Farcus' last commission for the line. So there's a heaping dose of neon, mirrored surfaces and other elements that are a cross between glam and wackadoodle (we didn't know whether to admire or fear the eyeball-ish orbs all around). Elsewhere in the ship, though, the decor is relatively tame and tropical; we particularly liked the quirky prints in the stairwells. We particularly enjoyed the extensive array of themed sessions such as Harry Potter and Dr. Seuss. Ocean Plaza is also the space for group games such as Yahtzee, Scattergories, Connect Four, beanbag toss and Trivial Pursuit. Learn about Carnival Cruise Lines' handicap accessible cruises and accommodations for guests with special needs or disabilities - including special staterooms, accessible elevators, dietary accommodations and more.

Music plays in several lounges, evening sail-aways and glow parties take place on the Lido Deck and the disco goes long into the night. If you don't want to get off the ship on port days, you'll still find trivia and other activities on non-sea days. Just don't expect the offerings to be as extensive or creative. Like the line's other ships, Carnival Magic takes pride in having something going almost every minute, particularly in the evenings. From Dive-In Movies to production shows to raucous music trivia sessions led by the cruise director, there's something for everyone onboard. Take a look at this photo gallery to help you envision your perfect vacation.

The ship's "main" Lido Deck pool is called the Beach Pool -- and it's small for a ship this size. The most popular seats here are the benches placed under thatched palapas, where you can dip your feet in the water while remaining in the shade (though you'll probably be sitting butt cheek to butt cheek during prime sun hours). Outdoor movies and concerts are shown on the 12-by-22-foot screen that overlooks this pool, and there's usually a DJ or musical performance going on.

What's aboard the new Disney Treasure cruise ship

treasure cruise

To further increase the power of your characters, you can upgrade your ship in the Shipyard. One Piece Treasure Cruise is an RPG hero collector mobile game, based on the anime One Piece by Bandai Namco. Generally, any generic tier character that’s part of a series is useless except if you’re literally just starting out, although even then you’re likely to roll at least one much better character before you leave the tutorial proper. My other biggest hope with the Disney Treasure is that it’ll correct unforced layout errors with the Disney Wish. For example, the Star Wars bar is constantly crowded and demand to get in far exceeds available space.

One Piece Treasure Cruise tier list

A new adventurer character, Arthur Quinn, was introduced in Disney Treasure announcements and could be featured in Disney Treasure theming. Since construction first began in January at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, Disney Parks Blog has revealed a handful of details about the new ship, including the stern character sculptures of Peter Pan and Captain Hook to honor the adventure theme. Finally, the Tomorrow Tower Suite was designed to capture the forward-thinking design of EPCOT. The nearly 2,000-square-foot accommodation, set high in the ship's forward funnel, is a one-of-a-kind suite that comfortably sleeps eight people and overlooks the top deck of the ship with an expansive two-story window.

More magical details about the Disney Treasure

The ship's overall design was "inspired by Walt Disney's love of exploration" and the theme of the ship is adventure, complete with Peter Pan and Captain Hook as the star stern characters. Furthermore, if you have more characters leveled up and upgraded than the characters in your crew, try some of those in your setup as well because some characters perform well against certain enemies. You will stumble upon many unique characters in the game, so to give you a better understanding of them, here is an overview of some of their main features.

Assemble! Whitebeard Pirate Crew!

Generally, many “animal” characters that aren’t named fall under this category too. Nevertheless they’re not instant sales, and if you’re interested in gathering as many named characters as possible it’s more than worth knowing that these are available for completion's sake. It’s also strangely fitting for Usopp that his absentee father only has a single variant in Treasure Cruise, even compared to other Red-Hair pirates like Roux. For the One Piece Treasure Cruise tier list, we’re going to come at it from the angle of characters with the most potency, the best synergy and the best evolutions. To keep things at least somewhat feasible, we’ll name the characters in general - assume that this covers their evolutions and unique variants as well.

One Piece Treasure Cruise is a mobile (iOS and Android) game under development by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.

Throughout this adventure, your job will be to recruit pirates and other characters from the anime, assemble a strong crew, and take out enemies to progress in the story. It shouldn’t be surprising that the Straw Hat Pirates and their close allies are mainly at the very top of the One Piece Treasure Cruise tier list. Given the iconic nature of the series, Luffy, Nami, Zoro and the others are constantly receiving new unique variations. Not only that, but the fact that the crew is canonically so close means that the synergy behind their different slot types (STR, INT, and PSY) is incredible, so if you want a simple and effective set of characters to shoot for, the Straw Hats are a great choice. Not only that but since you acquire Luffy and the others to begin with, evolving them - and in some cases needing them for story progress - is basically your default progression path anyway. If there’s any franchise that Bandai Namco loves to promote in their games, it’s One Piece.

No specifics were provided as to the substance of the suite that’ll be pulled from the park, so it sounds probably more like it’ll be a vibe. Our expectation is that it’ll feature modern style, and maybe some geodesic patterns here or there. Hopefully there’s more to it than that, but I don’t think we can expect to see Figment or nods to Horizons–this is a super expensive suite that needs to appeal to affluent cruisers with zero knowledge of the parks. Guests will dive into the mythical depths of uncharted oceans amidst the submarine-styled interiors and take a look at the watery world below through an intriguing glass ceiling. In addition to watching the latest sports games, explorers at the Periscope Pub will encounter a menu of craft brews and light bites.

treasure cruise

As a result, there’s frequently congestion in the area outside Hyperspace Lounge…and at all of the bars in this ‘district’ of the ship. The concierge-level staterooms and suites will offer both adventure and indulgence, and an exclusive concierge lounge with a private sun deck that serves as the perfect place to relax, sip a cocktail and enjoy a variety of food and beverages throughout the day. Senses Spa is a tranquil oasis offering indulgent spa and beauty treatments, drawing on the serenity of natural elements to promote pampering and relaxation.

Entertainment & AquaMouse

New players will get intimidated by it, and that's why there's a great need for the One Piece Treasure Cruise tier list. Throughout the game, different ships can be acquired for use with the player's crews. The player can organize up to eight crews with the playable characters they acquire as they progress through the story, gacha pulls and various promotions. They can put up to six people in each crew, and can also sacrifice the generic playable enemy and animal characters to increase the levels of and evolve other characters. The game proceeds through a variety of islands based on the different story arcs of the series. Each island contains a number of different levels where the player fights hordes of enemies.

The Admirals in particular boast a vast variety of evolutions and variant cards, while the famous pirates (Shanks, Mihawk, Buggy etc.) outside the central Straw Hat crew boast unique cards and evolutions too. If you want to move outside the comfortable familiarity of the Straw Hat Crew then exploring the options these characters open up is a great pick. So, for example, when you play the tutorial you play as a child version of Luffy, and one of your first actions on starting the main story proper is to evolve Luffy into his iconic young adult version - straw hat and red vest included. That means that functionally you can knock a few thousand characters off that list, although you’ll still have a comfortably numbing amount to choose from.

Characters in this tier are somewhat more useful than the ones relegated to the E tier. They’re still likely not going to be a lynchpin or even journeymen characters you use for any significant length of time, but they’re not immediate sells and can be useful in special circumstances or are needed for story missions. A tier is where you’ll find a large number of characters; One Piece boasts a massive cast, and many of them are fan favourites who are well-represented in Treasure Cruise.

Still, I’m hopeful and optimistic that Imagineering can stick the landing on this, as the concept is really intriguing and much better, in my view, than the atrium of the Wish. In addition to the return of two beloved Disney Cruise Line rotational restaurant concepts found on the Disney Wish (1923 and Worlds of Marvel), the Disney Treasure will introduce a brand-new family entertainment restaurant. Since this site often trafficks in Walt Disney World comparisons, think of the Treasure and Wish as being akin to the Yacht and Beach Club, whereas the earlier ships are the BoardWalk Inn. Highly imperfect comparison, but should convey the general idea of what to expect in terms of similarities and differences.

The Grand Hall will be the key to unlocking a trove of captivating new entertainment, including dedicated shows, character encounters and musical performances. As the story unfolds for guests on the Disney Treasure, the “Aladdin”-themed Grand Hall will serve as the ship’s most prominent gathering space, inspiring wonder and exploration during each voyage. The ship’s ice cream shop will be the “Zootopia”-inspired Jumbeaux’s Sweets featuring playful pink interiors, Victorian-style architecture, and a sculpture of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. It will offer more than 20 flavors of handmade gelato, 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbets, specialty treats, candies, and more. However, the general layout of this team speaks to the fact that - if you play your cards right - you’ll likely end up with rarer recruits early on.

That’s another not-so-hidden gem on that ship, and weaving Jungle Cruise into it could be perfect. In our experience aboard the Wish, this space is often overcrowded and chaotic–not necessarily with guests at this bar, but with those waiting for other spaces to open up. If the Cast Members are given the opportunity to shine, Skipper Society could be fantastic–and a perfect fit for a slightly chaotic setting. Adventure awaits guests beneath a tangle of untamed foliage at Skipper Society, a centrally located outpost that will feature refined nods to the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction at Disney theme parks around the globe.

That’s why the fact that so many other popular games, aside from this one have already implemented a skip battle feature, and this one you still have to grind and wait several minutes to clear a stage, is a little annoying and upsetting. I hope someone over at Bandai reads this, because this is one of the oldest gacha games, if not THE oldest gacha game, and we are getting some great updates, yes. Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck is a nautical playground inspired by the colors, icons and magic of Disney Cruise Line. Little cadets will set sail on a fun-filled adventure with an array of maritime-themed physical and sensory-style games and activities.

Also featured is a Mexican restaurant, a New York-style supper club, a steakhouse and a pizzeria open around the clock. The ship's last drydock refurbishment was in 2022 (October-November). The scheduled maintenance and class works were conducted at Vigor Shipyard in Portland OR. The works also included hull cleaning and coating/repainting with Carnival’s new livery (red-white-blue, introduced on the flagship Mardi Gras), also works on both stabilizers and the bow thrusters, plus some hotel updates.

Spa & Fitness

Carnival Miracle Junior Suites are all located on deck 4 (Main) and feature balconies, shower/tub combos, and sitting areas with a sofa and a small table with three chairs. Often cruise lines offer special rates that cannot be displayed to the general public. By registering with Cruise.com you will be able to view these special rates and offers. Sometimes you sit and take things slow, and sometimes you gotta roll — there’s just so much to do on a Carnival cruise!

Camp Ocean, the kids facility aboard Carnival Miracle, is located on Deck 5, and is designed for kids age 2 and 11 on each cruise. Children are broken up into three categories, Penguins (age 2 to 5), Stingrays (age 6 to 8) and Sharks (age 9 to 11), and activities are tailored for each age group. Kids and teen club spaces have dedicated directors, although staffing and activities fluctuate greatly depending on the number of kids onboard (peaking during Christmas, Easter and summer holidays). Guest services is located at the base of the Atrium lobby on Deck 2. This desk was quite busy the first 24 hours of the cruise, and at its quietest when we were docked in port.

Carnival keeps people busy throughout the cruise, especially on sea days. Shows on Carnival Miracle are part of the line's Playlist Productions program. Each 30-minute show plays twice on one night of a seven-day cruise.

Lido Deck

On a cruise from San Francisco you can experience all that the ‘City by the Bay’ has to offer, from its artistic, forward-looking culture to the beautiful coastline. When we went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, we found just the guy. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own. Lots of fabulous experiences are waiting for the whole family on the fun Carnival Miracle.

The 3-level main show lounge on Carnival Miracle is fashioned after "The Phantom of the Opera" and Paris Opera House. The elaborate production shows include a high-energy popular music medley from the last decades, called "Legends", as well as a Beatles-themed production. It received new carpeting and furniture as part of the recent refurbishment. Carnival Miracle ‘s crew is upbeat and warm, and genuinely engaged with passengers, and the main dining room delivered satisfying, sometimes above-average meals.

For kids ages 2 to 11, Camp Ocean provides age-specific groups and itineraries to keep your little ones entertained for hours, as trained professionals supervise their fun and offer both educational and enriching activities. If your itinerary is taking you to sunny locales, don’t stay indoors all day. Carnival Miracle offers loads of spaces for you to get in a little sun (just remember the sunscreen!). You can also order room service and pizza delivery, and attend special dining events, such as Carnival’s classic family-oriented, Seuss-themed Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast. Since Carnival Miracle’s launch, the ship has undergone a series of dry docks, to bring the ship up to modern standards and add new features and elements.

The aft portion of Deck 9 is devoted to the kid-free Serenity Deck, with a smaller pool and whirlpool, comfy loungers and sun beds, and a chill vibe. The endless view of the wake unfurling below is tranquility defined. Outdoor activities include a jogging track (15.2 laps equal a mile), the mini-golf course and a basketball court located on Deck 11, forward and available 24 hours, and the Ping-Pong tables found of Deck 10, forward. Wizards Video Arcade is located on Deck 4, hidden behind the Phantom Theater, while board games and crafts are available in the Joker Card Room, on Deck 2. Tucked away on Deck 3 is The Raven Library, which is a shadow of its former self. The computers for internet surfing have been removed, so all that's left is empty desks and a bookcase with a few dozen odds and ends for borrowing.

There were a dozen hangers in total, but we asked our cabin attendant for a couple extra, which were brought shortly after sail-away. There are three pools aboard Carnival Miracle, each with a whirlpool and located on Deck 9, plus a kiddie pool on Deck 11 next to the slide. The forward and midship pools, Sirens and Ulysses, are virtually identical, adjoined by party-sized whirlpools and shower stalls. The Ulysses Pool has a retractable roof, which is great when sailing in inclement weather. This is also the liveliest pool, with a stage for sail-away parties, as well as the grill and Odyssey Bar.

Carnival Miracle activities range from the standard pool-casino-spa offerings to most of the bells and whistles of the newer ships on the fleet, including water slides, great shows, ample sports areas, and themed kids’ cubs. With a capacity of 2,124 cruisers at double occupancy, the passenger-to-space ratio on Carnival Miracle and its sister ships is the best in the entire fleet. Extended Balcony staterooms feature a larger balcony with more outdoor lounge-around room, more open-air kick-back space… and back inside the room itself, all the comfort you expect with a great view and plenty of sunlight. When we say that Carnival Miracle takes you to another world, we mean that in every sense.

Or, challenge your kids to a game of hoops and show off your skills to the fam. This ship does offer interior with obstructed-view window staterooms, so if you feel like regular interior staterooms are a bit too boxy for you, you can upgrade to this slightly better option. On the smaller side (particularly compared to some of Carnival’s more modern ships), Carnival Miracle will pack you and just a cool, two thousand-or-so other travelers away, across its roomy-enough 12 passenger decks. Another way to gauge the cost of a cruise is to consider how much you'll spend on board. Even though a lot is included in the base cruise fare, you may still spend money on things like spa treatments, specialty dining, drinks, and excursions. In addition, guests can also have to pay for things like gratuities and tips.

What is a Fan?

A fan is a device that creates airflow. Fans can be used to cool people down, circulate air, or remove smoke and other airborne particles. Fans come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and can be powered by electricity, batteries, or manual power.

Personal fans are small, portable fans that are designed to be used by individuals. Personal fans can be clipped to clothing, placed on a desk, or held in the hand. They are often used to cool down in warm weather or to circulate air in stuffy or smoky environments.

History and Myth of Fans

Fans have been used for centuries to cool people down and circulate air. The earliest fans were simple hand-held devices made from leaves or feathers. Over time, fans became more elaborate, and were often used as decorative objects as well as for their practical purposes.

There are many myths and legends about fans. One common myth is that fans can cause colds. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. Another myth is that fans can spread germs. Again, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. In fact, fans can actually help to reduce the spread of germs by circulating air and removing airborne particles.
